Gerald M. Bishop is the founding member and head of the Law Offices of Gerald M. Bishop & Associates. Recognized as an Indiana Super Lawyer, Bishop has been an active civil litigator for over thirty-eight years representing individuals, large and small corporations, and units of government, throughout Indiana in both State and Federal Court.

Gerry Bishop  received his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law in 1976.  He is a member of the Bar of the State of Indiana, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Indiana, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.  Bishop is a former Member of the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education, a past Member of the Lake County Judicial Nominating Commission, and a past President of the Lake County Bar Association.  The recipient of numerous awards, Bishop has held several leadership positions in Sections and Committees of the Indiana State Bar Association, in which he has served as a House Delegate since 1988.

A Registered Mediator in Indiana since 1991, Attorney Bishop has successfully mediated over 2,500 cases to resolution.
